Attention WIC Participants, and Seniors: Don't Miss Out on the Seasonal FMN Program
Families participating in WIC are also eligible for a lesser-known component of the program, the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). Under the FMNP, an additional stipend is given for use at a local farmers market, June through November. You can contact your local WIC office for more information, and to participate. (The Pikesville Farmers Market operates on Tuesdays, May through November, in Pomona Square.)
Low-income seniors are likewise eligible for the additional stipend of the Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), for use at a local farmers market.
