Marylanders – Voice your Disapproval to Senator Van Hollen
Dear friends,
With our continued focus on addressing and countering the anti-Israel voices that exist within the local and national political discourse, we ask you to please join us in conveying our deep dismay and disappointment with Maryland’s U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen on his recent public stances, statements, and votes as they relate to Israel.
This past Wednesday, Senator Van Hollen joined in support of several alarming Senate resolutions that seek to block the sale of critical U.S. weapons to Israel. Thankfully, those resolutions were soundly defeated by a 76-19 margin. Additionally, the Senator appeared on several networks and news shows (including ones that are notoriously anti-Israel) accusing Israel of engaging in “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza, an extremely harsh and dangerous term for which there is zero evidence. Our community should not remain silent in the face of such appalling and irresponsible statements and positions.
Please use this “action alert” to directly convey our deep disappointment to Senator Van Hollen.
Thank you.

Virginians – Help Defend Israel by Reacting to the Votes of Your Senators
Dear friends,
Last Wednesday, three alarming resolutions seeking to block the sale of critical U.S. weapons to Israel were advanced in the United States Senate. Thankfully, those resolutions were soundly defeated by a 76-19 majority. Among the senators voting against these resolutions was Virginia’s Senator Mark Warner; but among those voting in favor was Virginia’s other senator, Tim Kaine. As anti-Israel activists attempt to pressure politicians into abandoning our country’s closest ally in the Middle East, it is important for us to counter their voices by expressing our disappointment to Senator Kaine and our thanks to Senator Warner.
Please use this “action alert” to let Senators Kaine and Warner know of our community’s viewpoint on this issue.
Thank you.
