Working Parents Assistance Program

The Working Parents Assistance (WPA) Program helps eligible county residents pay for child care. Parents must be residents of Montgomery County. Parents or guardians of children below 13 (or below 19 in case of a disability requiring care) who are employed for at least 25 hours per week (or enrolled in a fulltime undergraduate/vocational program) and meet income guidelines are eligible for vouchers to be used at a licensed child care program. For families where both parents live within the same household, both parents must meet all eligibility requirements.

More information about the WPA Program can be found here. For further questions, email wpa@montgomerycountymd.gov, or call 240-777-1177.
