Voter Registration
The deadline for registration of new voters or to modify the address or political party of an existing registrant is Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
NOTE: 17 year olds who are turning 18 by the General Election are eligible to vote in the Primary Election of earlier that year.
Early Voting
Early Voting begins on Thursday, April 16 and continues each day through Thursday, April 23 at Early Voting Centers across the state, open from 10 am – 8 pm.

Baltimore City residents vote early at the Police Training Facility on the corner of Park Heights Ave. & Northern Pkwy.
Baltimore County residents have several options, the closest two are Randallstown Community Center, located at 3505 Resource Dr. in Randallstown, MD 21133 — or — Owings Mills Public Library, located at 10302 Grand Central Ave. in Owings Mills, MD 21117.
Silver Spring residents have several locations throughout Montgomery County from which to choose.
Absentee Voting
Those who will be unable to vote on or before Primary Election Day, should vote Absentee.
The deadlines to request an absentee ballot is April 21 (to receive via mail/fax) or April 24 (to receive via download).
Note 1: Unregistered voters may register and vote at an Early Voting Center in the county/city where they live, by bringing in a document that proves their residence. This document can be your MVA-issued license, ID card, or change of address card, or your paycheck, bank statement, utility bill, or other government document with your name and new address. You will be able to register to vote and then vote!
Note 2: Unregistered (but eligible) voters may vote with a provisional ballot at a polling place in there home district on Election Day.
